Dr. Allen joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2013. He covers interventional radiology at Hilton Head Hospital and general radiology at Memorial.

Peter M Britt, MD

Dr. Britt, a native of Ohio, joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2005. He currently serves as section chief of MRI. His interests include stroke, neuro intervention, tumor ablation and cardiac imaging. Dr. Britt is a member of the stroke team and regularly performs mechanical thrombectomies.

Adam Brown, MD

Dr. Brown joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2020 after completing a Body Imaging fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Brown was the chief resident at Memorial during the 2018-2019 academic year. His clinical interests include complex body imaging/intervention, oncologic treatment (including lung, liver, and renal tumor ablations), and emergency radiology.

Dr. Burgner, a recent alumnus of the Memorial Radiology Residency, joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2020 after completing a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Burgner’s primary clinical interests include sports imaging and soft tissue neoplasms.

Mathew J. Dixon, DO

Dr. Dixon joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2006. He served as the residency program director from 2012-2015 and assistant program director from 2006-2012. His areas of interest include resident education, musculoskeletal imaging, mammography, and cardiac imaging including cardiac CTA and MRI. He is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology and is actively involved in the Georgia Radiological Society. He is an avid sports fan and is particularly fond of the Florida Gators.

William Gordon Greene, MD

Dr. Helmly joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2014. He has served as program director since 2015. Dr. Helmly served as Chief Resident and Administrative Chief Resident. His areas of interest include resident education, complex body imaging, body/chest intervention and cardiac imaging.

Christopher A. Hulsey, MD

Dr. Hulsey joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2005, currently serving as the radiology residency research director. Dr. Hulsey’s clinical interests include mammography, ultrasound, and emergency radiology. An avid golfer and fisherman, Dr. Hulsey enjoys spending time on the water with friends and family.

Dr. Jones joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2019. Dr. Jones’s primary clinical interests include complex body imaging and ultrasound. Dr. Jones was voted the “Attending of the Year” by the residents for the 2019-2020 academic year. Dr. Jones is an avid golfer and football fan.

Dr. Patel joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in July 2018. He focuses on resident education with clinical interests in stroke imaging, head and neck and pediatric neuroradiology. Outside of radiology, he enjoys traveling, astronomy, cooking and gardening.

Brandon Runyan, MD

Dr. Runyan joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2019. After completing his Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention fellowship in 2010, Dr. Runyan spent 9 years in clinical practice in central Florida. His interests include joint imaging, sports medicine, MSK interventions, MSK US and breast radiology. He is a member of the Society of Skeletal Radiology. His family of four, tennis, surfing, CrossFit, and salt-water fly fishing keep him busy in his hometown of Bluffton, SC.

Dr. Thompson joined Atlantic Radiology Associates and the faculty at Memorial in 2016. Dr. Thompson was born and raised in Savannah. When not at work, she spends much of her time with friends and family. She also enjoys cooking and being out on the boat. She is passionate about pediatric imaging and fetal imaging in particular.
